Message from the Principal

November is National Gratitude Month! Practicing gratitude has shown to have many psychological and physiological effects on our body. Finding ways to show gratitude is one way that students and teachers at Mountain Point have learned to bring a positive environment to the school.

Teachers and staff members show specific feedback with students in the form of a Puma PAWS. Puma PAWS are given to students when an adult in the building recognizes:

  • Practicing kindness
  • Acting responsibly
  • Working hard
  • Showing respect

At the end of the week all students who have earned Puma PAWS enter their ticket into a school wide raffle. 10 winners are selected and announced over the school announcements. Students are able to come to the office and select a small token of gratitude for showing leadership skills at Mountain Point. Students who save up 5 Puma PAWS can come to the office and select a prize

Nunca vas a hacer nuevos

amigos si vas a lo seguro.

3.Elige siempre la bondad. La bondad genera bondad. Es

realmente mágico.

4.Sé genuinamente interesado (a).

Nunca puedes

equivocarte siendo leal. Guarda los secretos de la gente, y

comparte tus situaciones honestamente.

11. Sé humilde y discúlpate cuando te equivoques. Te vas a

equivocar, siempre sucede y está bien. Así es la vida. Entonces,
